La Femme Des Mes Rêves - Dibyaroop Ghosh
If there is a teardrop in your eye,
I will fight the world and never let you cry.
If there is a twinkle in your eye,
To see you; over the mystical mountains I will fly.
If there is a gloom on your face,
I will hold you in my arms and in an embrace.
If there is a shine on your face,
I will call you the epitome of grace.
One look of yours blossoms a hundred tulips,
One kiss melts the moon.
You walk over the fields of Phlox,
And call me to the other world where angels croon.
The bright red sun sets on the horizon,
Promising a new dawn.
A joyous new day for you,
With memories of the days which are gone.
In the garden of roses, I've seen you in the morning,
By the river bank, I've seen you at night :
I've heard you talk to birds, sing to the flowers;
And listen to the poets words....at the twilight
From yonder valleys, someone calls your name
The bells toll and say;
Alas! If the two worlds met,
To take each other away.
Your smile makes way for the clear azure sky,
Your touch sends the dark clouds reeling,
Your thoughts travel across oceans, mountains and rivers,
Your presence is a warm feeling.
Time has come for the poet to bow and leave,
Only to come back in your dreams,
Bringing more songs, verses and lots of love:
And to take you on a ride on the wings of the solitary dove.
